CLOUD ATLAS REVIEW

I wanted to give a short review on the movie Cloud Atlas.

The success of the movie is first due to the fact that it speaks to us in a way that you cannot explain it, not with words but through a feeling..

The fist time I saw the trailer I could instantly sense some strong hidden messages in it.

The main one would be that we are all connected to one another..and the importance of being nice to one another.. in an other level we are all part of the same being.. ( hence the law of one, if you hurt one you hurt all)

and then there are some belief that are shared with a lot of people, from different religion..:

Fist the notion of karma

The reincarnation, past lives.. It is widely believed that at some higher level of concisousness time does not exist.., that there is no past or future life but parallel lives, that is why in the movie the story is not told chronologically but in parallel ( just like in the movie the fountain ) and also to show us that history repeats itself..

The Inspiration field : there is a belief that inspiration is like a field of counsciousness outside of the human brain that we all share, and that we all have access to..


If you are interested in movies or television series with a hidden message in it there are a lot.. more and more..

the most popular one is "The Matrix" of course, prometheus, planet of the apes, limitless, the fountain, the tree of life,..

and in televion show the remake of  "V" from 2009 and "the event" just to name a few

I wanted to make a tribute to my favorite show ever, there has been a lot of good shows since that one but never that good, it is sometimes dramatic, often funny, I recommend it to anyone that has not seen it yet to give it a try.

On a few elements you can see it has been an inspiration for desperate housewives..

It is verry profond and at a time where we are seeing  a deeper meaning in some  television shows and movies, this show would deserve a second watch and may be we would see some elements that we did not notice the first time we watched it ..

Sometimes when a caracter is giving a profond speach or a lession  the intention is that the lesson speaks for the audience has well.

for example Claire's Art teacher and his speech about seeing with your eye inside..

when Ruth takes a class on flower arangements and is told that she is not breathing right..

The books thats are mentioned in the show ..

and so on..

It is a show where there is not one central caracter but several.. and throughout the seasons your relate to each caracter

So if you are curious to rewatch it again or if you missed it and always wanted to see it you should..

I decided to start a blog today, I am from France but I decided to write in English to be read by as many people as possible, may be I'll switch to french sometime in the future..to make it more interesting I decided I'll be writing not only about things that happened to me day by day but also about my past, my dreams ( yes I mean it), and random web sites, and pictures I liked.. So I will see how it goes.
